This is where we will be posting all prayer requests both before and during the trip.
Travel Prayer Requests:
Continued good health and safety
Good weather for our flights
Smooth run through Customs in Miami
For flights to be on time so we can make connecting flights
Continued time to process what we have seen and experienced in Bolivia
All our luggage to arrive with us in Chicago
Long Term Prayer Requests:
For the children at the nutrition center; that they may grow
healthy and that God will continue to keep his hand on them once they have left
For the staff at the clinic; thanking God for their
servanthood in a very demanding and
detailed job
For the Timmer family; thanking God for loving and
having passion for the children placed
in their care so that they may grow up in a Christian home with someone who
loves them. Also, for God to continue to
guide them as they continue to find new ways to expand their ministry and
assess the needs of the people here.
For the family who the Timmer’s buy bread from. Even though they never thought they would be
bread makers, pray for them to continue to follow God’s will for their lives.
For the children and adults of Sipe-Sipe; pray for them to
open their hearts to trusting God and relying less on the distilleries
Prayers of thanks for being able to take in the beauty of
God’s creation at the Incan ruins
For the glue sniffers; for the realization that the void
they feel in their hearts cannot be fulfilled by getting high, but rather by
accepting Jesus and finding true joy through Him.
For Bonnie, prayers of healing as she is recovering from pneumonia
For the homeless families here in Bolivia; please say a
prayer of thanks for their openness to accepting the help that is provided for
them on a weekly basis. Also for God to
continue to keep His hand on them as they still reside on the streets.
For the children who will soon live in the homes we worked
on, prayers that they will have safe, happy childhoods provided by their
Christian house parents
